Dr. Franco combines a thoughtful, patient-centered approach with clear communication to patients and reliable results. It’s not just what you do—it’s how you do it that sets you apart. We want you walking out of the appointment that day feeling better than when you walked in.

This is a hot topic. Dr. Franco is an out-of-network physician. This means she does not hold a contract with insurance companies. When a physician has an insurance contract, they are then under the rules and obligations of the insurance on what covered treatments can be offered and how often patients can be seen (if they can even be treated at all!). Trying to find a treatment plan for patients under this rule makes practicing medicine very difficult resulting in a breakdown of treatment efficiency and effectiveness. Dr. Franco now has the independence to treat with only the patient’s needs and goals in mind.
A superbill of the visit can be given to the patient upon request. You can then submit the superbill to your insurance company for possible reimbursement back to you. (As per Medicare rules, Medicare patients cannot request a superbill and have no out-of-network reimbursement potential)

A superbill is a detailed, itemized invoice provided by out-of-network physicians that allows patients to seek reimbursement from their insurance company. It includes essential information—such as diagnostic codes (ICD-10), procedure codes (CPT), provider details, and fees—enabling patients to submit claims for services already paid for out-of-pocket. A superbill can be provided upon request. Some insurances clearly do not participate in the superbill/reimbursement and a superbill therefore cannot be provided in those cases.

Dr. Franco is a board-certified physician so technically has the ability to prescribe; however, in this practice, prescriptions for imaging or medications will not be offered. We like to think of this as a TREATMENT CLINIC. Due to out-of-network status with insurance companies, complications and barriers arise with prescribing and may be denied which will ultimately delay care.
Luckily, in most cases, imaging and medication is not needed for these treatments. If something is concerning, Dr. Franco can communicate that with you so you can contact your in-network physician for continued care covered under your insurance plan.
